About the Sports Injury Clinic
 
The sports injury clinic at The Clinic @ Cuppage is run by consulting sports physician, Dr LOW WYE MUN. Dr Low a.k.a. Sportzdoc, who works with an integrated group of specialists that provide X-rays, MRIs, physiotherapy, and podiatry services. A sportsman for many years, Dr Low received his undergraduate medical education in the National University of Singapore. He received his postgraduate sports medicine training at the US Sports Academy, graduating with a Masters in Sports Science with a major in Sports Medicine as the Outstanding Student of the Year. At that time, he also served as trainer/physician for the Springhill College basketball team. He also has a Master of Medicine postgraduate qualification in Public Health from the National University of Singapore.
 
Dr Low served in various government positions in the practice of sports medicine and injury prevention, as well as health promotion through physical fitness. A Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine, he serves on the ACSM International Relations Committee and chairs the ACSM International Team Physician Course committee. He is involved in sports science and sports medicine education, and is a lecturer with the ACSM, Singapore Sports Council, Blackburn College sports science diploma course, and the Life Fitness Academy.
Since starting his private medical practice, he has provided medical services as team physician to national teams (World University Games, ASEAN University Games, national cycling team), medical director of sports events (Bintan Triathlon, Pulai Triathlon), and sports physician at local sports events (World Cup Climbing Championships, national road/mountain bike cycling races). He is a regular speaker at public forums, sports clubs, and workshop events.
